As of January 1 2020, claims for Medic Construction (CCQ) plan members must be submitted to Green Shield Canada (GSC). All Medic Construction plan members have been issued a new card including a new certificate number.
This is a reminder that the following changes need to be made in your practice management software (PMS).
- Medic Contruction (CCQ) carrier ID. 000036 should be updated to Green Shield Canada, carrier ID. 000102. If you require assistance, please contact your PMS provider.
- Patient records will need to be updated with the new plan certificate number. You can obtain this information from their new Medic Construction plan benefit card.
CDAnet claims submitted to Medic Constuction carrier ID 000036 will be rejected.
Claims dated prior to January 1, 2020 cannot be submitted electronically through ITRANS. Please submit a manual paper claim form to Medic Construction with their plan information prior to this change.
