Rogue Dental Supply Company Declares Bankruptcy
September 22, 2004 - Ottawa — CDA has obtained more information on the status of Gilbert's Medical Dental Supply ("Gilbert's") and its associated companies Dental Wholesalers of Canada Limited and Excel-Dent.
Gilbert's recently filed a proposal to their creditors to settle for outstanding amounts. However, their creditors refused this unsatisfactory proposal. Therefore, Gilbert's and its associated companies were declared bankrupt.
Wasserman Associates Inc. ("Wasserman") are the bankruptcy trustees working on behalf of creditors owed money by Gilbert's. Wasserman has provided CDA with Proof of Claim forms, to enable dentists to add their names to the list of unsecured creditors.
