Further to the CDAlerts of March 7, 2012, and March 14, 2012, CDA has received reports of more fraudulent emails being sent to Canadian dentists.
The new false email subject line reads: "CDA Membership.”
The content within the false emails reads:
“Dear Members, This is inform all member's that there's upgrade going on our database, We request that all member's should update their membership details by clicking
Thank you.”
Once again, these emails are NOT from CDA. Do not click on any links or provide any password information.
To reiterate, CDA will never send any emails to dentists asking for log in credentials. Dental offices should be vigilant and exercise caution with any emails that seek log in or password information.
Please be on the lookout for these types of fraudulent emails and do not respond to them.
