Dr. Jane Aubin
Dr. Jane Aubin was appointed chief scientific officer/vice-president, research of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) in July 2011. Dr. Aubin assumes various responsibilities, including the oversight of all scientific affairs; the adjudication of grants and awards; and the development, implementation and reporting of CIHR's research and knowledge translation strategy.
Dr. Aubin was for several years the scientific director of the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA), the CIHR institute that houses oral health research. She has also served as chair of the graduate department of dentistry and director of postgraduate dental education at the University of Toronto.
