CDA Award Winners Every year, CDA honours individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the dental profession and the oral health of Canadians. Traditionally, the CDA awards are presented during the Annual General Meetings in Ottawa, but the COVID-19 pandemic did not allow the 2020 Awards Luncheon to occur in April this year. However, CDA did not want this year’s recipients to go unrecognized and celebrated the achievements of the award recipients with a special video presentation. The production of the CDA Award Winners video was made possible with the generous support of Johnson & Johnson Inc. and the Listerine Brand. “Johnson & Johnson have supported CDA Awards Luncheons for the past 4 years and we were delighted that they agreed to participate in this year’s virtual event,” said Dr. Gary MacDonald, CDA past-president and host of the video awards event. “And we thank J&J for their continued support.” CDA Medal of Honour Highest award conferred by CDA for a lifetime of outstanding service and professional achievement.
