Features: Tear-out, chairside guide that focuses on the most common sites of oral cancer—the tongue, inside of cheeks and floor of the mouth—with many photos related to oral screening and diagnosis. The guide provides information on global trends in ageing and the implications for oral health care, and summarizes possible strategies for meeting the oral health needs of older adults. According to FDI, the manual “prepares dental practitioners to confront important ethical dilemmas and uphold an exceptional standard of care throughout their careers.” It is relevant to a wide audience, including experienced clinicians, dental students, dental office managers or policy makers.
