This month's cover features 2 members of the faculty of dentistry at the University of Toronto: Dr. Andrew Gaffen, who is an MSc/specialty candidate in the department of endodontics, and Dr. Daniel Haas, who is associate dean of clinical sciences and professor and head of dental anesthesia.

Drs. Gaffen and Haas contribute an article in this month's issue on local anesthetic use by Ontario dentists (see page 649). They also published an article in the October issue of JCDA, titled, “Retrospective Review of Voluntary Reports of Nonsurgical Paresthesia in Dentistry” (see page 579 in the October issue).
