Cover Artist: Dr. William H. Liebenberg

Dr. Liebenberg notes in his accompanying description that “this acrylic painting depicts nature's momentum — so noticeable in the autumnal changing of the seasons. With the shorter days and cooler nights, leaves take to flight, soaring momentarily before tripping downwards, and then dancing along like winged beings as they reluctantly linger before coming to rest. The acrylic medium is ideally suited to this subject, as it allows for a vigorous and somewhat irreverent painting technique, which reflects the vibrancy and energy of autumn on canvas.”

Dr. Liebenberg received his BDS in 1982 from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. He emigrated to Canada in 1993 and practices general dentistry on the North Shore in Vancouver.
