CDA has developed a package of resources intended to help dentists facilitate discussions with their teams and patients around the importance of immunization against the COVID-19 virus. With the theme of “Sleeve Up” and get the vaccine, the resources feature a series of posters that can be printed and displayed in your practice. As COVID-19 vaccines are being distributed across Canada, dentists can play a key role in addressing concerns and building trust to support the rollout. At the dental office, dentists can make themselves available to staff and patients to answer any questions, address concerns, and guide people to further resources to help them make informed decisions about getting vaccinated. The resources package also includes huddle notes (a conversation guide for dentists with their teams), FAQs, Fast Facts and Myths about COVID-19 vaccines, along with additional online and social media resources.
